Dan Heckel Joins Steel King as Stevens Point Manufacturing Plant Manager

Heckel bringing almost 30 years’ experience in manufacturing and operations management to oversee day-to-day plant operations
STEVENS POINT, WIS. – Steel King Industries, a leading manufacturer of storage rack and material handling products announced that Dan Heckel has been named Plant Manager of Steel King’s Stevens Point manufacturing plant.
With almost 30 years’ experience in manufacturing and operations management, Heckel will oversee day-to-day plant operations, driving efficiency, safety, and product quality for the company’s Stevens Point manufacturing facility.
“What I really liked about Dan is his commitment to being directly involved on the shop floor,” said Brian Pfannes, President of Steel King. “It’s inspiring to work with leaders who have grit, want to dig in and get dirty to solve some of those tough steel fabrication challenges.”
Heckel previously served as Plant Manager for Pointe Precision, Inc.
Heckel has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from UW-Platteville and an MS in Industrial Management and Automation from Northern Illinois University.
