The collaboration leverages Steel King’s expertise in designing and manufacturing high-quality pallet rack systems with Automha’s cutting-edge Pallet Runner pallet shuttle technology for businesses seeking optimal warehouse management.
STEVENS POINT, WIS. – Steel King Industries, a leading manufacturer of storage rack and material handling products announced that the company has collaborated with Automha Americas, a pioneering pallet shuttle provider. This collaboration brings together two industry leaders to enhance warehouse efficiency and storage capabilities.
This collaboration allows Steel King to provide Automha’s Pallet Runner deep lane storage system to its client and distributor base. The lithium-ion powered Pallet Runner efficiently moves pallets in and out of high-density storage lanes. Steel King will include Pallet Runner as a turnkey solution for companies looking to streamline their storage processes, reduce operational costs, and ensure a competitive edge in the rapidly evolving market.
“We are excited about the combination created by partnering with Automha,” said Don Heemstra, VP of Sales and Marketing for Steel King. “The integration of Automha’s pallet shuttle technology with Steel King’s pallet rack systems will offer end users increased automation, efficiency, and flexibility, “This collaboration will help deliver a seamless integration of our robust pallet rack systems with Automha’s innovative pallet shuttle technology. Together, we are committed to providing our clients with state-of-the-art warehouse solutions that elevate their operational efficiency and productivity.”
Especially suited to applications with high volume SKU’s, Pallets are loaded into the system by lift truck and transported into deep lanes by the Pallet Runner cart. Once the load is positioned the cart returns to the front of the system to receive the next pallet. The cart does the deep lane transport within the rack while the lift truck operator travels only between load source and lane entry. This maximizes productivity and minimizes travel distance both for loading and unloading of product.
The joint venture between Steel King Industries and Automha signifies a commitment to pushing the boundaries of warehouse technology.
“There are several similarities between Steel King and Automha Americas” said Steve Dale, Vice President, Automha Americas Automation Corp. “Both companies are family-owned and operated and share a passion for producing the highest quality products. These business philosophies are the foundation of the collaboration between Steel King and Automha Americas in providing clients with the highest quality deep lane semi-automated storage system. Clients will benefit from Steel King’s extensive engineering experience and Automha’s vast automation and manufacturing capabilities.”
